Mohsen Hashemi, Chairman of the Tehran City Council, said: "The escalation of coronary casualties in Tehran has caused concern. The death toll in Tehran reaches more than 130 people per day and its increasing trend indicates the return of the dire conditions of last year, and unfortunately the late restrictions have not been effective. Therefore, lockdown should be considered a major part of the activities.

He added: "Considering that the major part of the services provided by the city administration is one of the essential activities required by the citizens, we expect the city management officials to raise the issue of vaccination of the front-line personnel of Tehran Municipality who are serving without closure and interruption. Hardworking sweepers(Pakbanan), fruit and vegetable market workers, employees of citizen(Shahrvan) shops and municipal health personnel are seriously exposed to coronary heart disease, and according to the president's agreement to provide vaccines by public and private organizations, and according to the agreement of the President of our country with the provision of vaccines by public and private organizations, Shahr Salem Company can take action in this area and prioritize high-risk employees for vaccination.
