The deepest metro station in Tehran; Milad Tower connects to Metro network

By the presence of Tehran Mayor, Milad Tower metro station was inaugurated as the deepest metro station in Tehran.

According to the Milad Tower Public Relations report, Milad Tower Station with a depth of 55 meters is one of the deepest metro stations in the capital, by which, many tourists and travelers can travel in the fastest possible time without a car to reach the highest point of the capital and watch Tehran from the top of Milad Tower.

This metro station is located at a depth of 55 meters and can now be accessed from Milad Tower and Milad Hospital.

"Developing the public transport fleet is one of the best services can be provided to the people of Tehran to reduce their economic pressures and this is actually to help people"; said Pirooz Hanachi, the mayor of Tehran, during the visit and pilot utilization of Milad Tower metro station.

He continued: "This station, next to Milad Tower and the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Milad Hospital, will be one of the most visited stations, which is located on line 7 of the metro, and fortunately, it was operated at a high speed and is being used experimentally today."

He continued by stating that this station which is one of the deepest and most visited stations built in Tehran: “by inaugurating this station, citizens can travel to Milad Tower or Milad Hospital without using private cars. In spite of many clients, this point of the city, was not in a good condition of accessing to the public transport, and I hope that this problem will be solved with the opening of this station”.
